Jackie Bowen is a Residential & Commercial Financing Strategist based in North Vancouver, BC. With more than 20 years of combined experience in the mortgage and real estate industries, she helps homeowners, business owners and real estate investors understand their options and make financing decisions that support their needs today and their goals for the future.
Licensed as a mortgage broker in British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario, Jackie works with clients across a wide range of financing needs. Her residential work includes home purchases, mortgage renewals, refinances, investment properties, reverse mortgages and rent-to-own purchases. She also assists clients who are self-employed, rebuilding credit or navigating circumstances that require a more flexible lending approach.
Building on her residential mortgage experience, Jackie has expanded her practice into commercial real estate and business financing. Her work includes multi-unit acquisitions, construction financing, owner-occupied business premises and capital planning for entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized businesses.
Jackie is a graduate of the Commercial Financing Mastery™ certification workshop, part of a year-long mentorship program focused on commercial lending, SME capital strategies and real estate deal structuring. Her training includes Canadian and US financing frameworks, including CMHC and SBA financing, broadening her understanding of the options available through different financing partners.
Her approach is guided by one simple principle: the right financing is about more than the rate.
Every client, property and transaction is different. Jackie takes the time to understand the full financial picture, including income, business cash flow, existing debt, available equity and longer-term plans. She considers how a financing decision may affect monthly obligations, future borrowing capacity and the ability to pursue another opportunity.
For homeowners, this may mean preparing for a first purchase, reviewing an upcoming renewal or accessing equity for changing needs. For investors and business owners, it may involve assessing rental income, debt service capacity, construction costs or the capital needed to acquire a property or grow a business. In each case, her goal is to help clients understand both the opportunities and the obligations that come with their financing.
Jackie works with lender account managers, banking contacts and financing partners to present requests clearly and address the information required for review. She helps clients prepare documentation, understand lender conditions and navigate the process with clear communication and realistic expectations.
She values lasting relationships and remains a resource as her clients’ lives, businesses and investment plans evolve. Through thoughtful preparation and practical guidance, Jackie helps individuals, families, business owners and investors make informed decisions that support long-term financial stability and opportunities to build wealth across generations.
